Book Bear Election at Andrews Library


Nominate your favorite book bear for the 2012 Book Bear Election at Andrews Public Library.

Turn your nominations in at the circulation desk or to Miss Bridget. Nominations are due by Wednesday, October 17.

Ballots will be available in the library beginning Wednesday, October 24 and the voting closes Friday, November 2. Results will be announced on Wednesday, November 7.

The Nantahala Regional Library has just received a gift of 100 new children’s books, ranging from pre-kindergarten through early readers. These books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together. The books were divided between NRL’s four branch libraries (Murphy Public Library, Andrews Public Library, Moss Memorial Library, and Graham County Public Library) and the Bookmobile. Come to your neighborhood library today to explore and enjoy our new collections.
